Design your space
Start with a photo of the area: any phone snapshot, taken from where you would stand to enjoy the finished space. Then describe what you want, or tap the features.
What the preview cannot know
This is the part every other AI design tool leaves out, so here it is plainly. The model is generating a picture. It has no idea about:
- Your grades. It cannot see that your yard falls eight inches from the house to the fence, which is the single biggest constraint on any patio layout.
- Your drainage. If water currently sheets across the area it drew a patio on, that patio makes the problem worse, not better.
- Your setbacks. It will happily render a structure two feet from a property line that your municipality will not permit.
- Your soil. Everything about building over Macomb County clay is invisible in a photo.
- Your budget. It has no idea that the version it drew is a $34,000 project when you were thinking $9,000.
None of that makes it useless. It makes it a very good way to answer the question "roughly what would that look like", which is genuinely hard to do in words and which is where most hardscape conversations stall.
What we do with it
Bring the image to the estimate. We will tell you which parts are buildable as drawn, which need to move because of grade or drainage, and what each version costs against the published ranges. Then you get a fixed price with the base spec in writing.

It costs us money per generation and it produces no email address to sell to. We think that is a fine trade. A customer who has seen a version of their space arrives with real questions instead of a vague ambition, and that makes the estimate faster and more accurate for both of us.
Questions people actually ask
Is the AI designer actually free?
Yes, and there is no signup. You upload a photo, describe what you want, and get a rendered preview. We pay for the generation because a customer who can see the space is a customer who knows what they are asking us to quote.
Is the preview what I will actually get?
No, and we want to be precise about that. It is a visualization of an idea, not a construction drawing. It does not know your grades, your drainage, your setbacks, your soil or your budget. Treat it as a conversation starter that saves you describing a shape in words.
Will you build exactly what the image shows?
Sometimes the image is buildable as drawn. Frequently it is not — because the elevation does not work, the drainage runs the wrong way, or the material shown costs three times what you told us your budget was. We will tell you which parts are real and which parts the model invented.
What happens to my photo?
It goes to the image generation service to produce your preview and it is not published anywhere or used in our marketing. If you would rather not upload a photo of your house, describe the space in text instead — the tool works from a description alone.
Do I have to use the tool to get a quote?
Not at all. Plenty of customers send dimensions and a rough sketch, or just point at the back of the house and say "patio, about this big". The tool exists because describing outdoor space in words is genuinely hard, not because we need it to quote.
Why do other contractors not offer this?
