A snow company built around one promise: show up, and say so
We are a 3-year-old Macomb County company. We cannot out-history anyone, so we out-organized them: published prices, custom-built dispatch software, and a phone that gets answered in a storm.
Why this company exists
Ask anyone in Macomb County why they fired their last snow company and you hear the same two answers. They stopped showing up, and they stopped answering. Usually both, usually in the same week, usually in January.
For most people that is an expensive annoyance. For the people who cannot shovel their own driveway (a bad back, a heart condition, a walker, a dialysis appointment at 7 a.m.) it means being trapped in the house until somebody finally comes. We started this company to be the one that comes, and that tells you when.
What we built to keep that promise
Showing up reliably is not a personality trait. It is a system, and most plow operations do not have one: they run storms on memory, a spreadsheet and a group text. So we built our own software.
- Routes in driving order. Every active property is on a route before the first flake, so a storm is a dispatch, not a scramble.
- A live route board. Each stop is marked done or skipped as the crew goes, with the time recorded. Skips carry a reason and get a return visit.
- Storm texts. When a route starts, everyone on it hears from us. Replies land in one inbox the office works from.
- A client portal. Quotes, visits, invoices and requests in one place, with estimates downloadable as a PDF.
It was custom-built for how we run, not rented off the shelf. Here is how it works.
Why we publish our prices
A young contractor cannot beat an established one on reputation, because reputation takes longer than 3 years. What we can do is remove every reason you would need to take our word for anything.
So the rate is on the website: $0.0715 per square foot per visit with a $75 minimum. The trigger depth is on the website. On hardscape, the base depth, aggregate type and bedding material go on the quote in writing. The snow calculator gives you a real number without asking for your phone number, because a price that needs a sales call is a price that is about to be negotiated.
What we actually run
Snow from November 15 to April 15 across all 26 Macomb County communities, with 24/7 storm response. Hardscape from roughly April to November, because we will not compact a base in frozen ground. Lawn care for a deliberately small number of properties close to routes we already drive.
We carry $2,000,000 general liability and $1,000,000 workers compensation, and we send a certificate before work starts. If an uninsured contractor is hurt on your property, that exposure can land on your homeowner policy, so ask every contractor for this, not just us.
What we are not
We are not a full-service landscape firm. We do not do irrigation, tree work, roof snow, ice dam removal, or giant industrial sites that need loaders and overnight staffing. Taking those on would mean doing at least one of them badly, and degrading service for the driveways and lots already on our routes.
Pressure washing goes to our sister company, Macomb Power Washing Solutions, which works the same county.
How to check us
Ask for our certificate of insurance. Price your snow on the calculator and see whether the published rate matches what we say on the phone. Ask for the base spec in writing on a hardscape quote and hold it against anyone else's. Those checks work on any contractor, including us.
Where we are
We are a service-area business based in Macomb Township, not a storefront, so there is no showroom and no street address in our listings. Inventing one to look more established would be a lie and a listing-suspension risk.
Try us for one storm
Per-visit service, no contract. If we do not show up and communicate the way this page says, you will know by morning, and you will not be locked in.
