What goes into your price
Two inputs and one floor: your square footage times your rate, and if that lands below the minimum, you pay the minimum.
- Residential: $0.0625 per square foot per visit. Driveway, walks and porch.
- Commercial: $0.057 per square foot per visit, up to 7,000 square feet. Bigger than that and it becomes a volume conversation, because access, stacking room and equipment start to matter more than area does.
- Minimum: $70 per visit. The truck-roll floor. It covers every property under roughly 1,120 square feet.
Worth being straight about: because the minimum covers everything under about 1,120 square feet, most one- and two-car driveways in Macomb County price at exactly $70. The calculator says so out loud when that is what is happening, rather than presenting the floor as though the per-foot maths produced it. Above that threshold every additional foot is charged at the published rate and nothing else changes.
What is not in the price: fuel surcharges, storm-day premiums, or a higher rate because the forecast looked bad. The number you see is the number on the invoice.
Calculator questions
Is this calculator accurate, or is it a lead-capture gimmick?
It is the actual price. Residential is $0.0625 per square foot per visit, commercial $0.057, $70 minimum — the same numbers we quote on the phone. The only thing that changes it is if the property turns out to be materially different from what was selected, and we tell you before any work happens.
Do I have to give you my details to see the price?
No. The price appears on screen with no email, no phone number and no sign-up. You give us your details only if you decide to book.
How do the preset sizes compare to my actual driveway?
They are honest averages for Macomb County housing stock. A standard two-car driveway is about 720 square feet; a three-car with a turnaround runs closer to 1,600. If you want it exact, open the satellite view and drag the box over your real driveway — it measures true ground area.
Why does my small driveway cost the same as a bigger one?
Because of the $70 minimum, which covers everything under about 1,120 square feet. That is the cost of sending a truck and an operator to your street at 4am, and it does not shrink just because the driveway does. Above that threshold you pay purely on square footage.
