Why we built this instead of a lead form
Nearly every competitor in this county requires a phone call before they will name a number. That is not because driveways are hard to price — they are rectangles of pavement and the arithmetic is trivial. It is because a number established in your driveway, after you have spent an hour of your evening, is much easier to anchor high than a number on a public web page.
We would rather lose the calls we lose in October to somebody cheaper than argue about a price in February.
Where the honest limits are
Square footage does not capture everything. A driveway on a steep grade, one with a tight turnaround, or one where there is genuinely nowhere left to put snow by February all take longer than their area suggests. We confirm on site before the first push, and if the property is materially harder than the measurement implied we tell you before the season rather than after the first invoice.
We also will not quote a fixed clock time for clearing. During a ten-inch event every customer is somewhere on a route, and a company promising every customer they are first is about to disappoint most of them.
Seasonal instead?
Seasonal contracts are priced from the same measured square footage. Break-even against per-visit sits near 14 to 16 visits in a typical Macomb County winter, so seasonal is best understood as buying a fixed cost rather than a discount. The seasonal page shows the arithmetic.

Why do most driveways come out at exactly $75?
Because the $75 minimum binds on everything under about 1,050 square feet, and most one- and two-car driveways in this county are smaller than that. The minimum is what it costs to send a truck and an operator to your street at 4am, and that does not scale down with your driveway.
Do I have to give you my phone number?

What if my driveway is an odd shape?
Use the closest preset and add the extras. Square footage is what drives the price, so a 700-square-foot L-shaped drive and a 700-square-foot rectangle cost the same. If you are between presets, pick the larger one and we will correct it down on site rather than up.
Does the price include salting?
No, and deliberately so. Bundling salt into a plow rate means charging everyone for it whether the temperature made it useful or not. It is quoted separately so that when it is 8 °F and rock salt cannot work, the honest answer is available instead of buried in a flat fee.
What about commercial lots?
Commercial is $0.057 per square foot per visit with a $150 minimum. Anything over 7,000 square feet moves to volume pricing, which is a real conversation about site complexity rather than the same formula with a bigger number.
